Typed in black ink on white paper. A brochure for 'The "Proto" self-contained breathing apparatus single-cylinder-two-hour type.' The brochure contains a number of black and white illustrations and photographs showing the "Proto" in use. The brochure is numbered from pages 1-12, but page 3/4 is missing. A large part of page 1/2 has been cut out. Page 11/12 has detatched. 88.98I/1 (1) - (17) were originally stored together in an acidic card file.
