Bodkin
Nail-shaped iron bodkin. Made by a blacksmith. Rough circular shaped head. Label attached reads: '1936 - 100 year old bodkin. Roughly fashioned by a smith. Used during the early part of the 19th century as a chair-caning bodkin'. From the Cardiff Institute for the Blind, and presumably used by its service users during the 1930s.
