Roman samian vessel
Samian vessel sherds. S149 is a plate sherd (Dr18) of orange/pink ware and fairly glossy bright orange/red slip. Central Gaulish. S150 is a cup sherd (Dr27) of pink ware with a red gloss. Southern Gaulish. S151 is a cup sherd (Dr27) of light orange/red ware with glossy but patchy orange slip. Central Gaulish. Trajanic. S152 is a bowl sherd (Curle 11) of pink fabric with a matt red gloss. The bowl has a low rim with a broken flange, decorated in the usual way. Southern Gaulish.
