Silver writing set with original wooden box (2010.16/2). Inscribed to Mr Daniel Davies, Cashier, Ocean Coal Company, 1914. Hallmarked London 1913.
Writing set has one large hinged compartment with a curved wooden tray. It also has three smaller hinged compartments two of which contain glass ink wells beneath a silver top. Carrying handle on top.
