Salad bowl, earthenware, standing on a spreading foot, the foot-rim notched and lobed and moulded with several raised bands around it, rounded curving sides flaring out to the lip-rim, the lip-rim lobed and moulded with several raised bands around it, to either end of the bowl the rim extends into twin solid horizontal handles moulded with raised foliate scrolls; transfer-printed in blue with to the interior of the bowl and the exterior sides scattered sprays of flowers and foliage of varying sizes, some with shells, dentil border to the foot-rim and interior lip-rim of small circles and diamond shapes issuing small flowers.
