Slop bowl
Slop-bowl, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a shallow footring, rounded sides tapering inwards at base; painted in polychrome enamels, on one side with a large exotic fowl in red, blue, yellow, brown and puce walking in a landscape, flanked by two other brightly painted birds, a branch to right, and another to left with a large puce blossom, inhabited by two smaller birds, spray of foliage opposite, gilt border line to lip, interior painted with a small device, similar to an ermine tail, in olive green.
