Woollen canvas ground embroidered with coloured silks in cross and satin stitches. Border of stylized wavy stem with strawberries. At top: the Apostle's Creed, with elaborate horizontal wavy stem below with honeysuckle. Lower part: various symmetrically arranged conventional floral, bird and animal motifs surrounding woolwork style motif of pineapple growing in pot. At bottom: maker's inscription and date.
