Banding machine
Machine is mounted on a wooden post (which was set into ground) and consists of three rollers, driven by intermeshing cog wheels, through which steel strip was fed to produce a hoop for tiring wheels; the position of one outside roller may be adjusted by two threaded bolts, which are then locked in place by a transverse bar; machine is hand powered, by means of four arms.
