Plate, soft-paste porcelain with a creamy, slightly buff translucency, and thick crackled glaze in the cavetto; standing on a straight sided foot rim, curving into slightly cushion moulded and flared spreading sides; painted with five small flower sprays in the centre; wide elaborate gilt border of scallop shells alternating with 'feuille de chou' canopies enclosing polychrome flower sprays, amongst gilt flowers and foliage; gilt scalloped lip.
