Dark green cover with brown suede spine. Imprinted in gold on spine is 'Voyage Book' and on front cover is 'Margam Abbey' ('Margam' has been handwritten onto a sticker and stuck onto book). Handwritten voyage book, first half is about S.S. MELROSE ABBEY 1915 - 1926 and the other half is about S.S. MARGAM ABBEY 1930 - 1940. There are many loose notes inside cover.
S.S. MELROSE ABBEY (2) (1457 tons). Built 1898, and owned by F Jones 1915-18. Sold.
S.S. MELROSE ABBEY (3) (1095 tons) Built 1899, and owned by F. Jones 1918-19. Sold.
S.S. MELROSE ABBEY (4) (2737 tons). Built 1910, and owned by F. Jones 1919-22.
S.S. MELROSE ABBEY (5) (1256 tons). Built 1917, owned by F. Jones 1924-26. Sunk.
Built at West Hartlepool in 1930 for Fred Jones' Abbey Line, Cardiff.
