Sampler
LINEN, embroidered with coloured cottons and red wool in cross stitch. At the top, in three horizontal rows, are Gothic letters of the alphabet preceded by a cross, numerals to 10, and "T.E 1856." Below is an altar bearing a monstrance flanked by pairs of candlesticks with lighted candles. There are two baskets of flowers (one unfinished) in the bottom corners. There is a varied border of zig-zag and straight stripes.
