Sauce-tureen and cover
Saucer tureen with cover, handle missing, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a flat base, circular shape, straight sides, everted lip, spout in the form of a mask, circular handle end (to take wood or silver fitting), slightly domed cover with twig finial; decorated in polychrome enamels, opposite the sprout with a spray of flowers, a pink rose in the centre, smaller spray next to the spout, scattered sprigs, gilt border around base, handle and rim, gilding to spout, cover decorated with a spray of flowers with a pink rose in the centre and various scattered sprigs, gilding to finial and gilt border to rim.
