Oval basket, creamware; flat base, spreading sides pierced in lattice-form, ridged and rope-moulded, to imitate basketwork, scalloped rim, two applied horizontal loop handles; border painted in brown of wavy lines, ovals and dots, pendent vine leaves; stylised flowers on handles and details of lattice-work also painted in brown.
