Portrait of Gustavus Henry Latham (1888-1975) seated infront of book shelves. Signed and dated bottom right. G.H. Latham was Chairman and Managing Director of Whitehead Iron and Steel Company Ltd, 1938-1964. The portrait was commissioned by the company in 1955 to commemorate his 50 years service with the firm.
