Inkwell
Inkwell, buff stoneware in the form of an elderly woman with folded arms; standing on a tall rim, band of guilloche above, bell-shaped pot formed by her skirt which has a mottled dark blue/grey ground, reserved with an apron at the front stamped VOTES FOR WOMEN above an olive green glaze, hinged on a metal pin at the waist to form the cover, the head modelled and incised with scowling features. The registration number 546,208 was registered late in 1908.
