Baby's nightgown
Baby's long nightgown worn by a member of the Murray-Thraipland family of Llanishen, Cardiff, early 1900s. Fine white cotton, all hand-stitched. Long sleeved with small ruffle at cuffs. Wiide section of tight gathers at waist, with stitched-on ties on either side of this section. Fastened with small white linen covered button, and draw-string (narrow cotton tape) through channel at neckline.
