Prehistoric flint knife
A burnt knife fragment.
It has a thick proximal end but the opposite distal end has been lost due to thermal fracturing while it burnt. The burnt surface is white with heavy crazing.
It is in the shape of a knife but the burning has destroyed any edges or evidence of retouching.
