Headscarf worn by Miss Elizabeth H. Edwards (Hettie Edwards) as member of the British Red Cross (Voluntary Reserve) during the Second World War. She was a librarian at the National Museum of Wales, 1931-70. White rectangle of gauze-like white fabric with embroidered red cross in the centre of one of the long edges.
