Plate, soft-paste porcelain; standing on a straight sided foot rim, curving into cushion moulded and curved spreading sides, with a lobed lip; painted in enamels in the centre with a crest of an heraldic eagle with outspread wings, within the motto, 'MIGRO ET RESPICIO', on a surrounding puce garter with a gilt buckle; a wide gilt border of alternating anthemions, and stylised convolvulus flowers; plain gilt circular band in the cavetto, and to the lip.
