Tea cup and saucer, soft-paste 'duck egg' porcelain with a green tinged translucency; cup standing on a prominent cylindrical foot rim, rounded sides flaring slightly at lip, with basket weave moulding above spiral gadrooning; ear-shaped loop handle; saucer on a tapered foot rim, slightly curved spreading sides; edge moulded with basket weave pattern above spiral gadrooning; both painted with four single roses and blue convolvuli, the saucer also with a rose in the centre; gilt lip to cup and saucer, and a gilt brushstroke line to the handle.
