Ceramic costume doll, "Irish" c.1916
Part of the Edward Lovett collection of dolls
Ceramic costume doll. Blond hair, blue glass eyes, open mouth but no teeth visible. Wearing long green dress with long sleeves. Wearing an orange scarf over head and shoulders, a beige apron tied at waist and painted on yellow shoes. Doll has solid body,(wooden?) arms and legs with joints at shoulders and pelvis. Dress is faded.
