Pollard, William (1803 - 1854)
Pembroke ewer, bone china with a white tranlsucency; standing on a circular pedestal base with rounded sides and a ridge above, ovoid body with a narrow neck and extended curved spout; a high curved-back loop handle formed from the neck terminating with a moulded mask; painted with wild flowers around the centre, including foxgloves, primroses, and a wild pink rose; a shaped, scroll gilt border above and below; gilt foot, wide gilt bands to neck and lip, and gilt handle.
