Cafodd y 'siwt ofod Gymreig' ei dylunio a’i chreu’n rhannol gan Hefin Jones fel rhan o’i brosiect Ymgyrch Gofod Cymru / Welsh Space Campaign, a oedd yn archwilio “sut y gellid cymhwyso diwylliant, sgiliau a thraddodiadau Cymru mewn cyd-destun cosmig”. Mae’r siwt a’i chydrannau wedi’u creu o ddeunyddiau Cymreig.

A poem composed by the Prifardd Ceri Wyn Jones as part of the artist Hefin Jones's project 'The Welsh Space Campaign' (2013). It is a countdown poem for the launch of the Welsh Space Campaign, to accompany the space suit.

The 'Welsh space suit' was designed and partly created by Hefin Jones as part of his 'Ymgyrch Gofod Cymru / Welsh Space Campaign' exploring 'how Welsh culture, skills and traditions could be applied in a cosmic context'. The suit and additional parts are made from Welsh-sourced materials.
