Llyfr Ateb Amgueddfa Werin Cymru, 1962, oddi wrth y Parch D. Jacob Davies, Allt y blaca, Llanybydder (1916-74) yn cynnwys geiriau llafar ardal Tregroes/Maesymeillion, Llandysul, tua 1942. Anfonwyd Llyfrau Ateb gan Amgueddfa Werin Cymru at unigolion ar draws Cymru er mwyn casglu a chofnodi gwybodaeth am agweddau o ddiwylliant gwerin yn eu hardaloedd yn cynnwys amaeth, crefftau, bwyd, arferion a thafodiaith. Mae’r ymatebion wedi eu hysgrifennu â llaw yn y llyfrau. Roedd y Llyfrau Ateb yn ddilyniant i’r holiaduron a anfonwyd ym 1937.

A Welsh Folk Museum Answer Book, 1962, received from the Rev. D. Jacob Davies, Allt y blaca, Lampeter (1916-74) containing local vocabulary used in the area's of Tregroes/Maesmeillion, Llandysul, c.1942. Answer Books were sent out by the Welsh Folk Museum to individuals across Wales as a way of collecting and documenting information on aspects of folk culture in their areas, including agriculture, crafts, food, customs and dialects. The responses were hand-written in the books. The Answer Books had a similar purpose to the earlier questionnaires sent out in 1937.
