Prehistoric bone spatula
Spatula made from the longitudinally split rib of a large mammal, now in three joining pieces. The rib has been carefully shaped along all edges to form an elongate oval with deliberately rounded ends. There are no wear facets at either end but the upper surface is quite smoothed and polished.
