Roman samian bowl
Samian bowl sherd, form Dr37. S255 is a late Southern Gaulish footstand of pink ware with a good red gloss. S260 is a fairly thin, glossy orange/red ware and slip. A large ovolo with a neat branch beneath a small vine-leaf and the tail of a bird to the left with a vine-scroll design.
Dr 37 is a hemispherical decorated bowl
Dr 30 is an approximately cylindrical decorated bowl (vase)
