Plain white memorial plate commemorating the death of Gwilym M. Rees in the Senghenydd pit explosion on 14 October 1913. Hand painted with red roses and green leaves, surrounding a photograph and verse. Below this is a hand painted inscription in black. On the back is the stamp of a crown and the maker's name.
