Jug, of grey stoneware, standing on a spreading, ribbed foot, globular body with a single rib at the shoulder, the neck cylindrical and restored to one side; simple strap handle, the lower terminal elongated, descending from the shoulder to the lower body in a v-shape with a raised ridge of thumbed pie-crust moulding; the neck and the larger part of the body covered in a honey-brown hued wash covered with a salt-glaze, the colouration thin and patchy around the handle; the lower body and the foot with the clear salt glaze over the grey body, with some dripping of the colouration from the upper body; the restored area of the neck painted a mustard-brown.
