Ebbw Vale Collieries, account of wages
Brown cover. Account book kept by David Evans, mining contractor showing wages paid for underground work in Ebbw Vale Collieries from November 1855 to June 1860. The second half of the book was used as a rents recieved book 1907-1932 by Stephen Devnallt. Also found inside the book were four other documents; a private letter from Blodwen and Ernest Pritchard to their Auntie and Uncle; a newspaper cut-out regarding the police search for a Mr Irvine Blennerhassett; a written note; an off-white envelope adressed to A.N Devnallt, Rassan, Beaufort sent from London on Aug 24th 1932.
