Amgueddfa Cymru – Museum Wales
Oval dessert dish, soft-paste porcelain, 'duck egg' type with a pale greenish translucency, lustrous glaze with a slight grey-green tinge, irredescent around the enamels. Standing on a shallow foot rim, moulded in six large and six small lobes, painted in the centre with a purple stock (Matthiola incana) amid grasses, decorated below the rim with a continuous band of hatched and shaded gilding, comprising fluted vases with conical covers alternating with arabesques, floriate scrolls and florets between two gilt lines.
