Notes
Notes created by Bethan Hughes, Rhydlewis, Llandysul, on the subject of food eaten in farming families and also domestic life around 60 years ago, in the Rhydlewis area of Cardiganshire, as a response to the Welsh Folk Museum questionnaire, 1970. Answer Books were sent out by the Welsh Folk Museum to individuals across Wales as a way of collecting and documenting information on aspects of folk culture in their areas, including agriculture, crafts, food, customs and dialects. The responses were hand-written in the books. The Answer Books had a similar purpose to the earlier questionnaires sent out in 1937
