Answer book
Letter, 1960, received from E.T. Price, Llanrhystud, and accompanied two Welsh Folk Museum Answer Books submitted by him containing notes on death and burial customs as he and others remembered them.
Answer Books were sent out by the Welsh Folk Museum in 1958 to individuals across Wales as a way of collecting and documenting information on aspects of folk culture in their areas, including agriculture, crafts, food, customs and dialects. The responses were hand-written in the books. The Answer Books had a similar purpose to the earlier questionnaires sent out in 1937.
