Roman stone roof finial
The upper part of a finial. The domed top is surrounded by four leaf-like projections. The edges, at the bottom of the waisted sides, appear to be scalloped. Underneath are two grooves at right-angles to each other, forming the top of the small archways. At each corner is the stub of one of the four piers.
