Ffarwel i lein bach y chwarel (news cutting)
A cutting from the Welsh language newspaper, ‘Y Cymro’, containing a selection of articles which had previously appeared in earlier editions of Y Cymro. One of the articles featured was written on the 14th November 1947 by Mr Idris Roberts (one of Y Cymro’s reporters), entitled ‘Ffarwel i lein bach y chwarel’. The article records the last journey of the Dinorwig Quarry workmen’s train (carrying quarrymen from Penscoins to Gilfach Ddu since 1895) on the 8th November 1947.
