Jug, Sheffield plate, of ewer form, standing on a lobed, spreading base, alternating four large and four small lobes, broadly reeded elongated cylindrical body, hinged cover, reeded cushion form with crocket finial; double scroll handle, heart shaped lower terminal with raised flower head; acanthus leaf form spout with brass upper section; Gothic tracery to base of body, lappets issuing fleur de lys around upper rim, inset silver panel to main body; the whole with the silver top layer almost entirely worn away.
