Teapot and cover
Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, rounded foot-rim, bulbous ogee body, short curving spout with foliate moulding around the base, double intertwined handle with spreading leaves at the terminals, round domed cover with to the top a finial modelled in the form of a flower head with stem and leaves; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to either side of the exterior body a riverside landscape with figures and buildings, two smaller landscapes to the top of the cover, the spout and handle picked out in gilt with a floral sprig to the underside of the spout, gilt lines around the lip-rim of the teapot and the rim of the cover, the finial picked out in puce, yellow and green.
