Teapot, hard-paste porcelain, inset base within a flattened-off foot-rim, globular body, curving spout terminating in a modelled animal head, foliate-moulding around the base of the spout, double-curved scrolled loop handle with foliate-moulding forming a raised thumb-spur to the shoulder; finely painting in polychrome enamels with to either side of the exterior body of the teapot two sprays of naturalistic flowers, further floral sprigs around the exterior sides of the teapot, the spout and handle picked out in puce.
