Esgair Moel Woollen Mill
(Weaver)
Tapestry weave carthen (Welsh woollen blanket), with reversible geometrical pattern in blue and orange. No fringe. Probably an example of the work of the late W. E. Morris, Esgair Moel factory, Welsh Folk Museum (now St Fagans National Museum of History). one edge finished with blanket stitch using blue wool thread, the other edge is raw/unfinished. Selvage edges on either side.
