Mustard pot, earthenware, urn-shaped body with a rounded spreading pedestal foot with a bulging gadrooned band around the pedestal, bulbous body shelving sharply inwards at the shoulder, flaring spreading mouth, a gadrooned band around the shoulder, twin horizontal ridged loop handles to either side of the body with a moulded shell to the centre of each one, round domed cover with to the top a rounded flat-topped finial, a gadrooned band around the sides of the cover, a semi-circular indent into one side of the rim of the cover; transfer-printed in blue with to the exterior body, exterior and interior neck, and the top of the cover scattered groups of shells with sprays of flowers and leaves, the foot-rim and the rim of the cover chipped.
