A memoir book presented to Mr Hugh Richard Jones on his retirement from the National Slate Museum (a gift from Amgueddfa Cymru). The memoir book contains a poem by William Parry (Eos Alltwen) and a series of illustrations by Olwen Hughes depicting important locations in Hugh Richard Jones's life. In a newspaper article discussing Hugh Richard Jones’ retirement, it is stated that "he received a book telling his story from his school days up to the opening day of the Museum. That gift is his greatest treasure."
