Facsimile of a letter from Edward Herbert to Captain Thomas Morgan referencing his command of Chepstow during the Civil War, dated 28 March 1643. The original letter was found in the roof of the Priory, Caerleon and presented to the Caerleon Museum by Dowager Lady Mackworth.
