Teapot, cover and stand,bone china with whitish translucency, second gadroon shape, the pot standing on four leaf-shaped feet, the body a flattened globe with gadroon moulding round the rim, the handle ear-shaped with leaf and scroll moulding, the spout of triangular section and with leaf moulding, the cover domed with gadroon moulding and nipple-topped flower-like finial, the stand with tapering foot ring, its sides with subtly double-curved profile, the rim with six-lobed undulating profile, gadroon-moulded; all decorated with enamelled flowers including briar rose, speedwell and wild strawberry, gilding to the moulded gadrooning, the handle, spout and feet, a band of gilt trailing vine round the lower part of the teapot body and the finial of the cover.
