Wooden decorative bardic chair with red upholstered seat, centre of back and parts of arms. On small castors. Awarded to Thomas Jones (Esyllwg) at the Blaenclydach Eisteddfod, 1903. Thomas Jones (Esyllwg) was born 1 June 1872 and died in a tragic accident at Deep Duffryn Colliery 4 May 1903, before he was able to receive this chair.
