Union dues payment card for the Amalgamated Union of Building Trade Workers of Great Britain & Ireland. Issued to J.E. Iles and expired December 1930. Issued to James Edward Iles who lived at 18 Devon Street. He was foreman for Knox & Wells for a number of years and worked on Merrett's Bakery in the Newport Road area and the old Canton Cinema. For the last 20/30 years of his working life he worked for S.A. Brain in maintenance work on the old Brewery and their various public houses.
Blue card covers with inside printed to allow details of payment to be filled in. Attached by 2 staples is some pink blotting paper and details of benefits etc.
