Roman copper alloy T shaped brooch
T-shaped brooch with tubular wings and a hinged pin (Hull type 104). Four ribs run from top of head to half way down bow, tapering slightly. Head is expanded by a plain band and a pair of ribs on either side of this central band. Decoration of the bow ends in a triangle, grooved across the bow. Foot tapers to almost a point. The catchplate is relatively short and has a small perforation in it.
Pin missing and ends of both wings broken. Surface mostly in a poor state.
