A photograph of Michael K. Garland (Grandson of Harry Blunt) presenting Gerallt Nash (Senior Curator of Historic Buildings) with an Ivory handled trowel used at ceremony to mark the laying of the Foundation Stone at Oakdale Workmens Institute on July 3rd 1916. They are stood next to the Foundation Stone laid by Mr Blunt.
Harry Blunt laid one of the Foundation Stones at Oakdale Workmans Institue on behalf of the Miners.
