Pair of women’s shoes, about 1720-45. Left and right the same. Upper covered in 4.5cm wide silver and silk brocade. Dark red leather heel. Pointed toes, slightly curved heels and high flap at front for buckle. Topline bound with rust coloured silk ribbon. Brocade fraying. From Plas Llanfair, Llanfair-is-gaer.
