S.S. J. DUNCAN was a British Cargo Steamer of 1,939 tons built in 1905 by Ailsa Shipbuilding Company, Yard No 131 for J Duncan SS Co (John T Duncan, Cardiff, Managers). On the 14 August 1913 she ran aground at Tolpedin, Cornwall when on passage from Penarth to Devonport with a cargo of coal.
