Letter, handwritten in ink on paper. On the left is a character reference for Evan Thomas, written by the Rev. M. Thomas. On the right is a letter of application for a vacancy in the police force by Evan Thomas. Dated 29 March 1895. Evan Thomas later became Sergeant and was based at Taff's Well police station.
