Plate, hard-paste porcelain, circular shape with straight-sided foot-rim, and curving spreading sides, a shaped edge to the rim; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well scattered Bourbon sprigs, around the rim a running border of bright red poppies and further Bourbon sprigs, gilt lines around the edge of the well and the edge of the rim. A narrow crack to one side of the body.
